It all starts with a rock-gathering walk in the 'arroyos', the river beds of Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Artist Andrea "Ani" Lozano keeps her eyes -and bag- open for the rocks that call out to her...by shape and size that is! It can be overwhelming at times: so many rocks, so little time...never mind having to carry them! But love of art gives 'Ani' the strength and resolve to collect and wash, imagine and paint, package and market the heavy darlings. In the end, after its all said and done, they ain't heavy, they're ANI ROCKS SANTA FE! |
