Acrylic Painting Workshop for Beginners - September 2013, Santa Fe, NM

Jackalope Market in Santa Fe, NM was the scene for six artists attending the Acrylic Painting Workshop taught by Ani Rocks Santa Fe artist Andrea 'Ani' Lozano.
Thanks go out to Richard Kolezar of Denver, CO for getting the ball rolling on the first of a series of workshops exploring the many styles of application and surfaces that make acrylic paints  so versatile.
Each student left with a color wheel and six style samples that formed an elephant when assembled. Most completed an 11"X14" painting even though it was their first!
All participants were troopers as unseasonal heavy rain poured (mostly) outside the Jackalope Artisan's building! Our thoughts were with Krissy Callahan as she received news of devastating floods in her Colorado hometown.
Lunch orders were delivered to us by Carlos, as we had a lot to cover in the two-day intensive workshop.
I wish to thank Richard, Crissy, Deborah, Gabby, Richard and Kyle for your contribution towards making this a successful and fun workshop.

I wish you many happy hours of painting in 2014 and beyond!
